Let it Snow Day 2012!

The day after Christmas we got SNOW...and lots of it! I'm honestly glad we didn't have an actual "White Christmas" because it would have made our already busy day that much more complicated, but it was very welcomed the next day!

We didn't get any snow last year, so this was Meyer's first true "playing in the snow" experience. We busted out the 18 month snow pants that we were prepared with last year...crammed him in, bundled him up and out they went. 

Hadley had her first snow experience too...only if it was for no more than 30 seconds.

A) She was only a week old 

and 

B) Mommy HATES the cold!

I'm loving that we got almost the exact same picture of H as we did with Meyer on his first day of snow.

"Hey Santa, you wanna come out and play with me?"

 To say Meyer LOVED the snow just doesn't quite cover it...take a look at that face! 

He definitely took advantage of taste testing the fresh snow, and no worries...he now walks around telling anyone and everyone who will listen..."We don't eat the yellow snow!" HA! 

 So many smiles and giggles were captured on this day!

...and Meyer's very first snowman was constructed!

We were so happy that Aunt Meg and Uncle Andy were home to experience this with us.

Melt mommy's heart sweet boy! Couldn't you just eat him right up?

Mommy and sister stayed inside with Mimi snuggling and making hot chocolate for the little snow bunny! When they finally convinced Meyer it was time to come in (because his face was about to freeze off), my two little snow babies were caught snuggling by the fire! 

A few days later, mommy needed a little R&R with baby sister, so Daddy and PopPop took Meyer up to the family cabin to play in the snow again! I can't get enough of this view...

I spy a Meyer man in a tree stand! 

 Once they had enough of the cold and wet snow, they got smart and took PopPop's heated tractor out for a spin. 

 This would be more mommy's style of "playing in the snow!" 

  I'm so happy that Meyer got to experience his first real snow and loved every single second. He really is at the perfect age! 

But enough is enough...come on SPRING!!!
